I want to invite you to join a surf & sail exploration project to the British Virgin Islands January & February 2021.
It could be the adventure of a life time; sailing, surfing, fishing and exploring the British Virgin Islands. You can decide to join either the 48.5ft sailing catamaran or 50.5ft sailing mono hull. Each ship can sleep up to 12 guests but we are limiting the capacity to 8 guests.
Sailing experience is not necessary but this will be a true surf & hands on sail exploration project, our mission is to flow with the elements, sailing to find uncrowded perfect waves, building lasting friendships and memories along the way.
Scroll down for further details of each ship.

Cruising World "Boat of the Year" featuring four spacious guest staterooms, all with double beds and private en-suite baths, this award-winning yacht is the pinnacle of leisure and comfort on the water.
Dine outdoors comfortably, in the covered aft cockpit with wrap-around seating and stools. The well-lit interior features a modern and fully appointed galley, saloon with spacious U-shaped settee and panoramic view of the outdoor surroundings, as well as a flat screen TV and air conditioning – all powered by the onboard solar panels and generator.
When it comes to your journey, the Leopard allows you to travel the open waters with ease. Average speeds under sail range from 7-10 knots depending on wind conditions. Handling is made easy from the raised helm station, which features 360-degree visibility, a full suite of Raymarine navigation electronics, an electric windlass with foot switch and all sail controls led to the helm. Supported by twin Yanmar 57hp engines, these features combine to allow the skipper near-effortless ease of handling.
Intelligently designed by Jeanneau, The 51.4 epitomises exceptional performance and comfort at sea. This innovative monohull offers a streamlined sailing experience courtesy of a high-performance, hard chine hull and functional features like dual helms with all lines lead aft for easy handling, a fully equipped Raymarine Navigation system, electric windlass, electric winches, bow thrusters and a 75 HP Yanmar engine.
Spacious liveability extends both inside and outside of The Moorings 51.4. With beautifully styled decking, the exterior provides numerous opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Venture aft to the cockpit and enjoy excellent visibility amplified by features including a fold-down swim platform, bench seating and a large table with an icebox and additional storage compartments.
Step inside and enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned interior centred around a sizeable saloon featuring cushioned seating for six, a table, multiple windows, and radio/CD/MP3 player with speakers throughout. The well-appointed galley includes everything you need for dining at sea, while the navigation station, located to port behind the saloon, provides a chart table with reading light, bookshelf and ample storage space. The Moorings 51.4 includes four double cabins, each with their own en-suite bathroom, providing comfortable accommodations for groups of eight.
BVI has maintained a strict development and environmental policy protecting much of its raw natural beauty from the ravages of tourist development. There are 46 islands of rolling green hills and white sandy beaches open to the Atlantic swell systems, accessible by boat. Favourable wind conditions for sailing & surfing and 25c sea temperature.
BVI sits 80km East of Puerto Rico and the Greater Antilles. The shallower shelf offshore means that waves don't reach the size and intensity of some of the other nearby islands like Puerto Rico, however this does not mean that you cant find beautiful, uncrowded, quality surf. The surfing potential of these 46 islands have been hidden to the masses. Since the early 60´s sailing surfers have enjoyed these remote set ups. If you are as fascinated as I am about surfing stories you could not ignore the whispers from these sailors about BVI.
For me surfing has always been about the shared adventure between a group of people. Surfing is the mission but the real value is the experience of the shared adventure, the steps you take along the way that makes finding a perfect wave, with just your buddies that much more sweet. If you do not understand this statement I recommend surfing a wave pool.
